Rotary Motion
is when every particle of a body moves in a circle and all of the
circles have their centers on the same straight line. Newton’s laws of
linear motion can be paraphrased and applied to rotational motion as:
“A body in equilibrium remains in equilibrium until
acted upon by an external torque” “The angular acceleration of a body is proportional to the
unbalanced torque acting on the body” “For every torque action there is an equal and opposite torque reaction”
